- Payment information — when purchasing Gold Coin packages, payment details are processed by our payment processor and not stored on our servers
- Identity verification — government-issued ID when required for prize redemption (KYC)

- Usage data — picks placed, games viewed, features used, time spent on platform
- Device information — browser type, operating system, device type

- Create and manage your Sideline account
- Process picks and maintain your coin balances
- Verify your identity for prize redemptions

We do not use your information for targeted advertising. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not sell your data.

- Payment processors — to process Gold Coin purchases and prize redemptions. They are bound by their own privacy policies and PCI compliance standards.
- Identity verification providers — to verify your identity for prize redemptions when required.
- Infrastructure providers — including Supabase (database) who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
- Legal authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory compliance (such as transaction records required for tax purposes).
Pick history and transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years for legal compliance purposes.

Sideline is strictly for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will immediately close the account and delete all associated data.
